About Justin
I have over five years of experience as an academic tutor at the university level, and about two years of experience in teaching at the university level. My strengths lie in tutoring English writing and literature as well as preparing students for the verbal and writing portions of the SAT. I am also happy to help with improving study skills and academic habits.

I am happy to assist with homework assignments, brainstorming and outlining essays, editing and improving writing, and walking through practice questions for the SAT. I can also provide original content per student request.
When it comes to improving academic writing, I utilize an active approach that has students read their work out loud and take the lead in making improvements and edits. This approach works best in helping students learn and grow.
When it comes to brainstorming and ideation, I use a conversational and Socratic dialogue approach that gives students agency throughout tutoring sessions.
