About Maggie

I have years of classroom experience, test writing, and assessment scoring. Beyond that, I also have several years of experience in higher education and educational consulting work. Most importantly, I'm a mom and understand how important your success is from so many standpoints.

About the lesson

I like to get to know you, what your goals are, and what you like. Then, we will work together to tailor lessons for you. I can teach English, literature, and writing skills with any book or writing as a base, so we will focus on your interests! I specialize in the workshop model and will work you through conceptualization all the way to ratiocination in writing and walk you from cover of cover through a novel. I work with older students (high school/undergrad) and some middle grades (6-8) on a case-by-case basis.
