About Jigyasa

My own journey has shown me how much courage it takes to communicate in a new environment. Having built a demanding corporate career in India, navigated daily life in the United States, and recently relocated to Auckland, I know exactly what it feels like to step into unfamiliar rooms and need your voice to be heard, understood, and respected.

I chose to teach because I see so many incredibly smart, capable people held back simply because they lack confidence in their English. I want to change that. I am not here to just run you through a textbook. I want to be the mentor who helps you unlock your actual potential and articulate your true value to the world.

When you choose to work with me, you are not getting a tired, cookie-cutter lesson plan. You are getting my absolute dedication. Because I am currently building my own new chapter here in New Zealand, I have the energy and time to be deeply, personally invested in my students. I want to see you succeed, thrive, and finally feel confident chasing your biggest goals.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Jigyasa! If you want to learn English that actually works in the real world, you are in the right place. But here is my promise: we won't just study a language. We will build your confidence and overall presence.

As a former corporate program manager who has lived and worked in India, the United States, and New Zealand, I know that true communication goes beyond grammar. It is about how you carry yourself.

* Total Confidence & Presence: I will teach you how to read a room, understand subtle tones, and use body language to command respect and connect instantly.
* Business English & Interviews: I know exactly what corporate managers want. We will perfect your resume, emails, and do mock interviews so you walk in fully prepared.
* IELTS, ESOL & Academic Prep: Need a specific score? We will break down the exams into clear, stress-free strategies to hit your target.
* Everyday Fluency: We will focus on natural pronunciation and practical phrasing so you can speak smoothly and overcome the fear of making mistakes.

My classes are judgment-free and tailored entirely to you. We will skip the boring textbooks and use interactive role-plays instead.

Details

For in-person lessons, a travel fee will be applied for locations outside of my immediate area to cover transport costs. Please feel free to message me with your location so we can confirm the details.

As I am new to the Superprof platform in Auckland, I am offering a limited-time introductory rate of $28/hr for my first few students while I build my profile.
