About Desmond

I have a B.A. in journalism and a B.A. in economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I also have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Education in Teaching (MEdT) also from UH Manoa. I have taught high school English and also worked at a college tutoring center, where I was a Master Tutor and earned a CRLA Regular Tutoring Certificate from the College Reading & Learning Association. I have also taught English as a Second Language in Japan for four years. I have a certificate in TEFL from The TEFL.org. I currently live in Honolulu, Hawaii and love to read and watch movies.

About the lesson

A typical lesson would include going over the paper (or section of the paper) and asking what you want to focus on.

Then we would look at the paper together and I would highlight areas that need improvement and explain how and why those areas should be improved.

I have experience helping undergraduate and graduate students with their papers.

I have a wide educational and life experience which would make it easier for me to understand what your paper is trying to say.
