About Tasfiyah

I have been teaching for about ten years in public and private schools in Johannesburg and Durban. I have been fortunate enough to teach a wide range of diverse students with different learning styles over the years. Many of my students have excelled in spelling contests, reading and writing awards and have had books published as a result of my vast experience in teaching. I have been teaching all subjects in the foundation phase and particularly enjoy English!

About the lesson

I am a qualified educator with a BEd degree from Wits university, specializing in the Foundation Phase. My teaching method is flexible and I adapt according to the needs of my students. I particularly enjoy the use of visuals and technology in the classroom. I have been teaching in the classroom and online which has helped me to adapt my learning styles according to what is expected. I know that all students learn differently and base my classes on what the students' need. I approach each topic by making it fun and engaging and building on each students' strengths.
