About Aran
I am a 4.0 STEM student majoring in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Southern California, where I am a Presidential Scholar on a half-tuition scholarship. I was accepted into the Freshman Science Honors Program and have been actively involved in it for the past two semesters. I achieved a 36 ACT superscore, including a 36 in both the Reading and Writing sections in a single sitting. I have a passion for teaching and emphasize gradual, supportive learning. If you don’t understand something right away, we’ll slow down and work through it together — making sure nothing is left confusing. I believe this careful approach is the key to true, lasting understanding. In addition to academic tutoring, I have taught science presentations at USC as a member of the Health Sciences Educational Program, including delivering a full solo lesson at a high school. I have also worked as a math tutor for StepUp Tutoring. If you need support in math as well, I am happy to help!

I will guide you through actual lessons I have taught using Khan Academy materials and share proven strategies to help you master each English section of the SAT. A typical session includes a language lesson, a conceptual breakdown of an English topic, and practice with an official SAT section. I earned a 36 on both the Reading and Writing sections, as well as a 36 composite superscore. Together, we can work through full-length practice tests and focus on speed drills to enhance accuracy and pacing.
It’s never too early to start preparing for the SAT—students in both middle school and high school can benefit from building a strong foundation early. Strengthening these skills now is essential for long-term success!
