About Koyeli

I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic Law graduate from SOAS University of London, where I achieved a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree. I have always had a strong passion for English, literature and education, having achieved excellent GCSE results and studied English Literature at A-level.

Throughout my education, I have enjoyed helping others develop their academic abilities and confidence. During university, I worked as an Academic Mentor, supporting fellow students with their studies. I was also appointed Senior Academic Prefect during sixth form, where I gained valuable experience tutoring and mentoring younger pupils.

These experiences helped me develop strong communication skills, patience and an understanding of how to explain challenging concepts in an accessible and encouraging way.

I particularly enjoy helping students improve their writing, analytical thinking and essay structure. Having recently completed my own education, I understand the pressures of exams and the importance of having someone approachable and supportive to guide you.

My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build students’ confidence and help them achieve their academic potential.

About the lesson

My English lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style.

I offer online tutoring for KS3 and GCSE students, focusing on English Language and Literature, reading comprehension, creative writing, essay structure, literary analysis and exam preparation.

As a Law graduate from SOAS University of London, I have developed strong analytical, research and writing skills, which I aim to share with my students.

Each lesson will focus on identifying areas for improvement, explaining difficult concepts clearly and working through practical exercises and exam-style questions.

My approach is patient, friendly and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, developing their abilities and building confidence in their academic work.

Lessons will typically last 60 minutes, although I am happy to adapt the structure and pace to suit individual students.
