About Serena

Hi everyone! My name is serena , i am 44 and love tutoring students. I specialise in gcse preparations and re-sits. I have taught students from around manchester, london and bolton online. My students always achieve passes at grade 4 and beyond up to 8-9.

As an examiner I have marked papers for AQA and Edexcel exam boards. This puts me in an advantage to guide students the correct way in using techniques to help them understand how to answer their questions, to write creatively.
My specialism is in literature as most students find it daunting! Shakespeare, old novels
to study... I help them really connect and understand so that they have a good grasp of knowledge and techniques to achieve the higher grades!.

I love interacting and teaching young students and take job satisfaction from seeing their grades and understanding improve.

Hi!I am a female, friendly and passionate easy going tutor for English language and literature.

I teach online and face to face. I teach students from year 9 to 11 and GCSE resits.

I have improved grades in my students from 5 to a 8/9 !.

My method of teaching is working through GCSE past papers and practising language devices, structure, analysis in an understandable and easy way with no pressure!.

I am based in bolton, greater manchester but can teach wherever you are from!.online in the comfort of your own homes.
