About Zezette
Hi, I’m Ze, based in South Australia. I have nearly four years’ experience as an SSO with students from Years 2–12, including those with diverse learning needs. I also bring lived experience of dyslexia and likely ADHD, giving me insight into the challenges some students face.
I hold a Diploma in Photo Imaging, have a background in photography, and am an undergraduate in archaeology, planning to return to complete my degree. My interests span the humanities, arts, culture, and inclusivity—I enjoy drawing, writing, music, and exploring ways to make learning creative and engaging.
I’ve worked mostly in Steiner education but am familiar with Christian school environments. My approach is warm, student-centered, and flexible, helping students feel confident, understood, and excited to learn while celebrating their individuality.

My approach to teaching is centered on connection, understanding, and flexibility. I take the time to get to know each student—their strengths, challenges, interests, and how they learn best—so I can support them in a way that feels natural and effective for them.
I understand that learning can feel frustrating or overwhelming at times, especially for students who think or learn differently. Because of this, I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence at their own pace.
I also believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable. I bring a positive, encouraging energy to my sessions and try to make lessons fun, helping students feel comfortable, motivated, and able to be themselves while they learn.
I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual, often using creative and alternative ways to explain concepts until something clicks. My goal is not just to help students understand the work in front of them, but to help them feel more capable, independent, and confident in their learning.
Above all, I want students to feel seen, understood, and supported—because that’s when real learning can happen.
