I use PowerPoint presentations and explain concepts and terms very clearly in a simplified form. I make use of many examples to make the student understand the topic. I make learning easy and interesting. My lesson plan begins with repeating the key concepts of the previous lesson. Then I would ask some simple questions which the student could answer. This instills confidence in my student. Then I ask him/her some questions related to the new topic. For example, if I were to discuss the middle few stanzas of the poem " Mending Wall", I would ask the student about different types of walls (a feeling of separation) existing among the people and in our society. My approach is simple to complex. After listening to the answer given by the student, I would appreciate him and then I would read the poem to the student and ask him to read it by himself or herself. Then I would ask her/him what she/he understood by reading those stanzas. If the student couldn't say the meaning of those stanzas, I would give the inner meaning of some phrases and ask him/her to read them again and try to understand the meaning of those stanzas. Then we would discuss the questions related to the poem and ask the student to write the answers. I would check the answers for grammatical correctness, spelling, and relevance of ideas. But I would be friendly and appreciate the effort the student takes even if the answers are not correct or below the expectations. I would work with the student till he/she meets the benchmark for standard answers. I am Available 24x7 for clarification of doubts and correction of practice lessons. I could repeat explaining the lesson any number of times till the student understands it and learns it. I give a lot of practice lessons till the student feels confident to write the exams well. I help my students to do the homework, assignments, and projects. I not only teach well the lessons with a clear lesson plan but also give tips to the students to recollect the topics with the help of notes and mnemonic techniques. What makes me different from other tutors is that my students enjoy the learning process as I am a good motivator. I teach middle school, high school & college-level students.
