About Edwin

Hello, and welcome! I’m an English tutor who helps students speak with confidence in real-life situations. Unlike most tutors, English is not my first language, so I had to learn it the hard way and because of it I know the things most non-native English speakers struggle with.

About the lesson

You’ll understand real-life speech. Slang, casual phrases, and different ways of speaking (including Ebonics/African American English) can be confusing for learners. I explain what they mean, when to use them, and when not to.

You’ll know when to use which English. Talking to friends is different from a job interview or an email. I help you switch between casual and formal with confidence.

You learn at your own pace. No rushing, no pressure, and no feeling behind. We go as fast or as slow as you need, and we repeat anything as many times as it takes.
