About Xavier

Hi, I’m Xavier, a bilingual English-Spanish teacher with strong Ecuadorian roots and a deep understanding of the challenges Spanish speakers face when learning English.

Many of my students feel nervous, blocked, or unsure of themselves when speaking a new language — especially at the beginning. Having learned and lived between two cultures, I understand that feeling very well, and I work hard to create a calm, supportive space where you can learn without pressure.

I’m patient, detail-oriented, and flexible, and I truly enjoy guiding students step by step as their confidence grows. I’ve taught English and Spanish as a foreign language to students across Latin America, the U.S., and other parts of the world, and I especially enjoy working with beginners and pre-intermediate learners.

I hold two bachelor’s degrees and graduated with honors, and I bring structure and clarity to my lessons — always adapting them to your pace and goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, staying active, learning through educational content, and exploring new cultures through travel.

About the lesson

I have over 5 years of experience teaching English to both children and adults, and I design each learning program according to your level, goals, and learning pace. No two students are the same, and I believe progress happens when lessons are clear, practical, and consistent.

In our classes, we work on vocabulary, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and speaking, always adapted to your English level. Grammar is introduced gradually and in a simple way, only when it helps you communicate better — never in an overwhelming or confusing way.

I provide all the study materials you need, including textbooks, audio tracks, videos, and guided grammar and vocabulary exercises. Everything we use in class has a clear purpose and supports what we are practicing together.

I strongly believe that practice and repetition, in a calm and supportive environment, are the keys to building confidence and seeing real improvement over time.

Learning English doesn’t have to feel stressful or overwhelming. I truly believe the best way to learn is by speaking, listening, and practicing from the very first lesson, even if you’re a beginner.

We’ll work together step by step, focusing on real communication and building confidence at your pace. I’ll share simple, effective techniques that help you learn faster and feel more comfortable using English in everyday situations.
