About Rachel
Hello! My name is Rachel Corney, and I am passionate about empowering and supporting youth and adults in their English Language abilities. I have worked with wonderful people from all backgrounds, including children beginning to read, adult ESL learners, and everything in between. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to advance themselves and I want to help where I can. I love meeting and working with new people and I will work hard to find the best teaching methods for YOU!

Hello! I offer English tutoring lessons for anyone looking to improve their English literacy, reading comprehension, or grammar. I work with all ages, including ESL learners. I have worked with children all my life in academic settings so am very comfortable creating an individualized lesson plan dependent on the level and needs. I was an English Teacher for a year in Botswana, Africa under the Fulbright Program and worked in a rehabilitation school for 2 years where I led a supplementary English class. I also have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Virginia. I am excited to help build your confidence when reading, speaking, and writing English!
