About Shannon
Hello! My name is Shannon Shope and I am a 25 year old that teaches middle school ELA and Social Studies. I am a graduate of UNC-Greensboro and majored in English. I love teaching and it has been my passion since I was 5 years old. When I was younger, I would ask for school supplies for Christmas and set my baby dolls and stuffed animals as my students. I get excited off of students learning and comprehending things that they struggled with and that it why I took on tutoring.

My lessons are taught at a need based for each student. I adapt to students at their level and make sure to have interactive lessons to keep students engaged. I make sure that students receive breaks to give their brains time to recollect and focus on something else. I teach lessons from Kindergarten until College.
