About Paula

Teaching is my vocation. I want to not just make English accessible to all but help people use it as a key to lifelong success and opportunities. I am honest and fair, and will always give no fluff feedback and advice. I believe in mutual respect and integrity, clear communication, and have a good work ethic.

About the lesson

I am a friendly and approachable teacher very experienced with supporting students to reach their highest potential. I create bespoke resources as required to make English language and literature open to learners of all abilities. Lessons are 45 minutes but flexibility is available for students with different requirements. I can offer fully comprehensive schemes of work, revision slots, exam practice, reading and writing assessments, as well as dyslexia screening (not diagnosis) and reports, plus adaptive teaching for a range of SEN needs. As I am UK based exam and revision is based around UK exam content and boards, however, I am happy to support overseas learners to improve English too. Zoom is my preferred platform, work can be submitted via email, marked and returned. Also if requested some resources can be printed and posted to UK addresses. This is particularly helpful to home educators, as I can create bespoke timetables, guides, and text extracts.
