About Abigail

I am an English tutor who is attending university to become a fully qualified English teacher. I will have completed my bachelor's degree in 3 years. I have achieved Higher exams in a wide variety of subjects including; English, Drama, Religious education and more. I also speak conversational German!

About the lesson

My teaching method is student centred. I believe that students should play a role in their own education. This can include discussions that are off topic for example; culture, hobbies, etc. I find that this keeps students interested in my courses and encourages them to engage more. I try my best to use 5-10 minutes per session to discuss something that the student is interested in. This is also extremely helpful for growing vocabulary and encouraging students to be more comfortable in their learning environment.
