About Fida
Hello! I am a 2nd-year BA Psychology (Honors with Research) student with a strong academic background and a genuine love for nurturing young minds.
I am deeply passionate about helping young children fall in love with English reading and writing. My background in Psychology gives me a unique advantage when working with little kiddos.
I understand how a child’s mind develops, how their attention span works, and how to handle learning anxieties or frustration gently. Instead of using rigid, outdated teaching routines, I apply positive reinforcement and child-friendly psychological techniques to keep them motivated and engaged
Rather than being a traditional, strict teacher, I love to be a warm, high-energy mentor—like a supportive older sibling—whom children look forward to learning with. My goal is to turn reading time into their favorite activity and make writing an exciting creative outlet for them!"

My Teaching Methodology & Class Structure:I specialize in helping young learners discover the joy of early literacy through highly interactive, playful, and stress-free methods:
• Psychology-Backed Motivation: Children have short attention spans. I design my classes using child-friendly psychological techniques, incorporating positive reinforcement, fun rewards, and brief "brain-breaks" to keep them completely engaged without feeling pressured
• Phonics & Easy Reading: I use fun phonics sounds, interactive word games, and engaging storybooks to help children blend sounds and confidently read full words and sentences.
• Creative Writing & Fine Motor Skills: For early writers, I focus on letter formation, simple sentence building, and creative storytelling exercises that keep their little minds and hands active.
• Play-Based & Visual Learning: I completely avoid boring memorization. Instead, I use colorful visual aids, flashcards, interactive digital word puzzles, and mini-games that make reading and writing feel like playtime.
•A Safe & Gentle Environment: I provide a warm, patient, and encouraging space where kiddos feel celebrated for every small step they take, completely erasing any fear of making mistakes.
• Customized Pace: Every child is unique. I assess each kiddo's current reading/writing level and tailor my pace exactly to their comfort level.
