About Hana

I am a friendly and ambitious law student at the Kings College who would love to pass her knowledge and understanding of the GCSE/A-Level curriculum to others. I have taught English Literature, Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at GCSE and some at A-level. I achieved three As in English Literature, Maths and Chemistry at A-level and a range of 7s and 8s at GCSE. I have a passion for making learning engaging and fun and will provide as much material as I possibly can within the session, without overwhelming you. I will come to every session with a plan based on what you have said you would like to explore further, and if that changes, you will always be welcome to let me know at any stage during the session. I'm a very friendly person and whilst I will be sure to push you to your potential, I will ensure you feel comfortable during the session and will take things at your pace. I really hope to see you soon!

About the lesson

My teaching style is friendly and approachable. I am very calm and patient and like to make my lessons engaging! Over the years, I have tutored an enormous range of students to exam success - or to feel more confident in their struggling subjects. In my introduction lesson, I have an individual lesson plan that I complete during the 'meet and greet' session which includes details of the student, targets, criteria for success, and additional comments. Before the lesson, I like to create a lesson plan to keep track of what the student is taught each lesson. Afterwards, I have an evaluation that myself and the student fill out together where I note down the activity, my comments and the student's reflections. I also keep a lesson record which is shared with the parent and the student each week (optional) where I write down the work completed, homework, follow up lesson plans, etc.

For our initial 30-minute free session, I'm happy to let students choose the topic they'd like to explore. This gives them the opportunity to experience my teaching style and determine if it aligns with their preferences and comfort level. After this session, if you decide to move forward, please let me know, and we can schedule regular sessions.

As a law student at one of London's top 10 universities, I do experience high demand from students who are eager to learn. This demand is the reason for the pricing structure, as I dedicate a substantial amount of time and effort to create lessons and provide valuable resources. These resources have been instrumental in my own academic success, helping me achieve top grades in my examinations, and I'm committed to sharing this knowledge and expertise with my students.
