About Assia

I have been tutoring for 7 years and with experience have learnt to appreciate and value each child according to their unique personality. Hence, every tutoring experience is personalised to them. I focus on building transferable skills that they can use in life and other subjects. The tutoring is a mentorship and educational experience. I have had experience tutoring for a national company as well as many years of private tuition, where I organised work based on the curriculum and exams and the students' personal requirements. I focus on removing weaknesses and recognising strengths to push the student further. I also had the opportunity to mentor in GCSE class settings, coordinating my support to ensure the child excels in exam settings and in class. I am fluent in French and English and I am currently studying History and Arabic in SOAS (Top 10 university in London). As a language learner myself I understand the importance and difficulties of learning a language. I have recently finished my TEFL course and on a year abroad in Egypt, I tutored, assisted and mentored many individuals ranging from many ages in learning English. The national curriculum has become increasingly harder hence I aim to make the experience as memorable and enjoyable through various activities and reward systems.
