About Rachel, Jia En
As a final-year medical student in London that has successfully navigated top GCSE English grades, and competitive UCAS admissions myself, I understand the stresses and demands of juggling class-loads, maintaining stellar extracurriculars, and keeping up with applications to sixth-form colleges and/or universities.
My goal is to translate my own understanding and experience into a systematic and easily digestible framework/pattern-based approach to learning that students can easily apply to both curriculum-based tasks and real-life situations that call for different sets of soft skills.

As a tutor, I focus on helping students boost their GCSE English Language or Literature results and with soft skills required in UCAS university applications (e.g. polishing a winning CV, personal statement writing, improving interview skills).
After assessing each student’s personal needs, I aim to break down complex syllabi, topics, or skills into manageable chunks that are then taught to students via clear, repeatable frameworks that they can easily apply on their own.
