About Olivia

hi! I’m a a level student currently studying maths, further maths, physics biology, and an EPQ, who gained an average of 8.5 in their GCSEs. As much as exams stress me out incredibly, the feeling of achievement after a good grade is worth it all! This is why I’d love to tutor, to help spread the sense of pride you feel when you achieve the grade you’d like, as well as the fact I also have a passion for teaching and it may be something I’d like to continue later on in life :)

About the lesson

I believe my tutoring offers a more personal experience, as I know firsthand the pressures and strains exam season brings, and students would find comfort in knowing they are not alone in this time. My approach consists of an initial analysis of the students strengths and weaknesses, so we can identify which areas will need extra help, whether that be structuring answers, memorising quotes, or writing a convincing essay. These areas will then be revised upon and the student will be taught how to implement these into their work, improving the quality of their answers. Practice papers are then key to solidifying this knowledge, helping them practice their exam technique, as well as helping to prepare the student for any type of question that comes their way in the real exam
