About Lucía

Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by! As a teacher — and as someone who has lived and travelled abroad — I’ve learned that language is more than just words: it’s a bridge to connect with people, cultures, and opportunities. I’ve been living in Ireland for the past four years, and I also spent a year in London after graduating as a teacher. Travelling has opened many doors for me and helped me understand the real value of communication. In my classes, I aim to create a welcoming space where learners feel supported, motivated, and inspired to grow. Join my fun and engaging conversational lessons designed to help you become more fluent and confident in Spanish or English! I welcome students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

I hold a four-year professional teaching degree in Spanish and English as Foreign Languages, and I have over 7 years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults from diverse backgrounds in Argentina, Spain, Ireland, and the UK. See you in class! :)

About the lesson

My teaching approach is communicative and student-centered. I focus on helping learners use the language in real-life situations, building their confidence and fluency through conversation, role plays, and interactive activities. I believe learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, so I adapt every class to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. For conversation-focused classes, I use authentic materials such as articles, videos, and everyday topics to make the sessions dynamic and engaging. I hold a four-year professional teaching degree in Spanish and English as Foreign Languages and I have over 7 years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults from diverse backgrounds in Argentina, Spain, Ireland, and the UK. My lessons are ideal for beginners to advanced learners who want to improve their Spanish or English for work, study, travel, or personal growth. Whether you’re looking to build vocabulary, refine pronunciation, or gain fluency, I’ll guide you step by step toward achieving your goals. See you in class! :)
