About Giorgia

Hi, I’m Giorgia, a Clinical Psychologist from Italy. I love travelling, meeting new people and discovering different cultures. I have experience working with children and teenagers in schools, but I have also worked in other psychological settings. I have a Master’s degree in Psychological Counselling and Coaching Techniques, I collaborate with a psychology and psychiatry practice in Rome, and I will start a School of Psychotherapy in Psychosomatic Therapy in January.
I am currently based in Italy and I offer online Italian lessons.

I decided to become an Italian tutor because I love being in contact with people and I would be happy to share my language and culture with students from different countries. At the same time, teaching gives me the opportunity to learn about other languages and cultures and to create a genuine international exchange. I believe that learning a language is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about connecting with people.

About the lesson

My approach is friendly, practical and focused on communication. I like to start with simple conversations to help students feel comfortable speaking Italian from the beginning. Depending on your level and goals, we can also work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing. We can even read a book together and learn through it!

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have worked in schools with children and teenagers, including students with concentration difficulties. This taught me how important it is to create an engaging and stimulating environment, adapting each lesson to the student.

My English is still at a basic level, so our lessons will mainly take place in Italian. This can be a great opportunity to practise the language from the very beginning in a natural and immersive way!
