About Wendy
"I spent thirty years as a nurse before deciding to return to school as an adult learner. Through hard work and strategy, I earned my Bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude, my Master’s with honors, and ultimately, my Doctorate. I also had the privilege of joining three honor societies. I know firsthand that adult learners bring incredible strengths to the classroom. My goal is to help you unlock that potential and achieve your dreams. My teaching style focuses on effective communication with students to help them achieve their goals. The first priority as a tutor is to assess each student’s goals. Next, I work to understand the specific areas where the student needs assistance. Finally, I guide them in working towards those goals.
