My teaching method is to learn what the student needs and to continue from there. Standard classrooms don't give teachers the breathing room they need to give students individualized instruction that suits their learning styles but as a tutor I am in a perfect place to be able to do just that. I would expect a tutee to come into a session with a piece of homework, a project, or some questions to give us a goal to work towards in a session.
I'm a current Master's student with a four-year degree in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. I minored in German because it wasn't enough to just have a weirdly specific major. I did some education training in undergrad and have experience tutoring one-on-one.
I require a 48-hour notice of cancellation.
