About Kayla
Hi! My name is Kayla, I'm a grade 11 student based in Madawaska Valley. I have always loved teaching since I was younger and was teaching my brothers to ride a bike! That's a while ago though, and I've moved on to teaching others English and how this language works. I'm hoping to get into a career teaching English when I'm older so I can inspire kids to enjoy reading and writing as much as I do.

My methods: I believe in a supportive working environment with structure to stay on track but also the flexibility to be comfortable. I like to listen to others and provide feedback. I also work in many different types of learning styles, visual and audio learning the most.
Why am I special? I'm special because I bring a unique perspective to the table. I had trouble with English as a kid, so I can place myself in the shoes of someone who has a hard time with reading and writing. I have grown a lot since then though, and I'm currently working on a couple different short stories.
Who are my lessons for? My lessons are for anyone between the reading level of grade 1 to grade 9. But I'm open to working with older or younger students as well!
