Hi! I am Liz Gonzales. I am currently a grade 11 student preparing for university applications for next year. I am engaged in many hobbies such as playing the guitar, singing, writing (surprising?), skiing, dance, skating, so much more you can name!

My teaching approach is student-centered, encouraging, and structured. My lessons focus on building a student's confidence in oral presentations, and aims to refine literacy skills including reading and writing comprehension. I believe that students learn best in a supported, welcoming environment where their skills and current talents are refined and rewarded, and 'weaknesses' are overcome and used as mere stepping stones in a student's learning journey.
I combine elements of guided practice alongside real-time feedback, active discussion to build oral confidence in presentations, and creative liberty where students are able to think outside of the box; enhancing both critical thinking skills, problem solving, and creativity.
My lessons are targeted towards students between Grade 2 to Grade 10.
