Hi, I'm Matthew. I am a graduate from UC Davis with a B.S. in Physics and over 5 years of tutoring experience. I have a passion for teaching, and for supporting students through the education process. I also have a great love of the material I teach, and I put great effort into communicating complex and difficult concepts in a manner which is easily comprehensible for anyone.

I offer personalized private tutoring in math and science courses.
My approach is to assess the student's current familiarity with the material of the course and to customize the lessons to meet the student's stated goal(s). This can include giving lectures, assisting with homework, or administering practice tests according to the student's wishes, as well as offering tips and tools for more effective studying.
I have experience working with students of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, as well as students with a variety of different learning challenges.
I offer support for a wide array of course including but not limited to:
- High School: Algebra, Geometry, AP calculus, AP Statistics, AP Physics, and SAT and ACT Math and Science preparation.
- College Lower Division: All lower division math and physics courses including College Physics, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
- College Upper Division: All upper division physics courses including Analytical Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, and Electricity and Magnetism.
