About Emily
I tutored for a short time in high school as a senior to freshmen and taught grammar as well as creative writing (even art!)
I love teaching and used to help my younger siblings after school with their assignments to ensure they had good grades

I’m a very patient and warm person to work with
A typical plan is structured and organized and I take the time to plan out our lesson days in advance
I like to work at your pace, so you don’t feel rushed and feel like you are understanding what you are learning
I do lessons for beginner level students needing an extra push who may not get what they’re learning in the classroom

Emily is such a kind, patient, and encouraging person. I’ve known her as my best friend, and she’s always been someone who makes people feel comfortable and supported. She has a great way of explaining things without making anyone feel embarrassed for asking questions. I know she’ll bring that same patience and positivity to her English lessons. I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a friendly, trustworthy, and supportive tutor!
