About Tyler
I am a Technical Product Manager at Capital One and before receiving both of my master's from Northwestern University, I served in the US Army as a Captain, serving first as a Military Intelligence officer and then the latter part of my career as a Special Operations Officer. I have a passion for teaching, have been married to a teacher for 11 years, and enjoy solving problems!

I come from a "show all your work" background in math. This helps to visualize all of the steps and for me to also identify where in the chain there are misunderstandings. I love to see that aha! moment when a student is able to connect the dots!
