About Sofia
I have been a professional tutor for 3 years and a professional musician for 10 years. My undergraduate degree is in English/Creative Writing and I am currently getting my MFA in Creative Writing at the New School. My writing has been published in several magazines.

In tutoring sessions, I work with students to craft a homework plan and to review class concepts. For students elementary through middle school, I am able to help with any subject. For high school students, my specialties are English, Writing, Test Prep, and History.
In guitar lessons, I teach the fundamentals of guitar, mapping the fretboard, basic chords, and we learn the songs you want to learn! In songwriting lessons, we learn writing techniques, complete prompts together, and analyze your favorite songs.
