About Jack
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Oregon State University, where I designed my own degree program centered on understanding people, systems, and stories from around the world. That foundation, paired with my experiences as a copywriter and ghostwriter, and hands-on work in theater, film, and community education, means I know how academic rigor translates into real-world career paths. I work with middle schoolers and high schoolers who are navigating everything from five-paragraph essays to college application writing, and I tailor my approach to fit each student's pace, strengths, and goals. I work as a freelance copy and ghostwriter and love to write in my free time, meaning I live and breathe storytelling. My experiences acting and producing theater and film projects, teaching improv classes at a Boys & Girls Club, and doing communication and development work with local non-profits make me a Swiss Army Knife for students looking to sharpen their reading and writing skills, find their voice on the page, or step into their power on stage.
