About Lucy

My passion for theatre, shared by many, stems from its unique ability to shift perceptions, even if only momentarily. Whether it is for 2 minutes post show or during the hour-long tube journey home, theatre compels us to reconsider our viewpoints, challenge our assumptions, and explore alternative perspectives. My experience and research up until this point has been focussed around how we can move the actor to ensure there is an authentic response which in turn generates a response in the audience. My teaching focuses on finding the essence of the actor and how we can enlighten and unlock to create an exciting performance for both actor and audience.

About the lesson

Having worked across various different teaching methods I work with my students to find the best method or methods for them to maximise the impact of the sessions. I tailor the process to your needs and make sure we have lots of fun along the way! I typically work through 1 hour sessions although I can adapt to whatever time is needed. I have worked at summer schools and successfully trained pupils up for drama school entrance. I can match my lessons to any age, level and/or ability!
