My name is Karly and I look forward to working with you. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Education. I myself struggle with dyslexia and know the frustrations it can bring. But I have researched and come up with my own tools that my current and previous students have adapted and had much success. I know these won't work for everyone, but we will find the one that works best for you. I have a passion for helping students reach their goals and improve their skills.

My approach to tutoring is not just diving in to the subject or subjects first. I want to get to know you, what your struggles are and what are the roadblocks we need to get over. Once we achieve that, then we can dive in.
I will explain what we are working on, or let you explain to me what you are working on and the instructions. I will ask if there are any details you don't understand and explain them. Not only that, but I want to make sure you are 100% comfortable before we begin.
I myself struggle with dyslexia and know the frustrations it can bring. But I have researched and came up with my own tools that my current and previous students have adapted and had much success. I know these won't work for everyone, but we will find the one that works best for you.
My lessons range from college students down to kindergarten.
