About Vivek

I have a BA in Acting/Drama from the Australian National University. I then spent 5 years working in the Australian Public Service in a number of communication roles, writing in various styles. During this time I spent at least 18 months working as a corporate trainer in 2 separate roles, teaching public servants and military personnel how to write for Ministers of Parliament. I have also earned a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. These qualifications and experiences have helped me to become a highly experienced teacher for academic and corporate writing, analysis, research, and both verbal and written communication.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching to the student— I like to get an understanding of your goals and what you want to achieve. I also like to know about your current experience in the subject matter as well as your learning style. I use all of this information to give you the best learning experience for YOU. I like to coach students to help them develop their skills. It’s my belief that Students learn best if they know why they are learning what they are learning; thus they can gain the skills that empower them to know how to do the same work in the future.

For an outcall lesson, I will also need to calculate the travel costs-- I will charge the lesser of either:
1) The cost amount of travel to and from your home; or
2) £15

I am happy to travel anywhere in London for a lesson-- obviously the further away that you are, the higher the cost for my travel. Please do contact me-- I can provide you with a specific quote :) As an example, most clients living near a tube station within Zones 1-3 London can expect an average additional £3-6 on top of my base rate-- but please do contact me for a specific quote.
