I provide you with a programme of short, regular focussed sessions that will prepare you to perform at your personal best in your GCSE exams this year.
I will begin each session with a short, 5 minute warmup text, image or video and use discussion to work through comprehension and academic response. From here I will set you a session objective to build towards a written response that we will grade and assess for opportunities to improve according to the exam assessment criteria.
I will also provide you with regular prompts to help you to build the habit of critical reading and response to a comprehensive range of texts.
