About Edinam Hillaria

Hello! I am an international English educator and certified professional coach dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential, build global communication skills, and find their authentic voice.

My educational journey includes a degree in Political Science and Chinese Language from the University of Ghana, alongside specialized training as a Level 1 Certified PTE (Pearson Test of English) Trainer. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding young learners through rigorous international English curricula—including the Pearson Edexcel iPrimary framework for Grades 4 to 6—as well as working alongside global assessment boards like Cambridge and IELTS through the British Council.

In addition to my classroom experience, my background as a professional coach means that I don’t just teach content; I mentor the whole student. I combine strict instructional quality with actionable goal-setting to ensure my students don't just memorize information, but actually build long-term confidence.
For me, teaching is far more than delivering a lesson plan—it is about empowerment. Language and communication are the ultimate tools for navigating the world, sharing ideas, and opening doors to global opportunities.

I chose to teach because I love watching the exact moment a challenging concept clicks for a student. There is an incredible shift that happens when a learner goes from feeling hesitant about their reading, writing, or speaking skills to actively taking ownership of them.

By blending my background in international English education with professional coaching methodologies, my goal is to create a vibrant, safe, and highly effective space where you feel motivated to learn. I want to show my students that with the right structure and support, mastering English isn't just an academic requirement—it's an exciting skill that expands what you are capable of achieving.

About the lesson

I believe that true learning happens when a learner feels both challenged and deeply supported. No two learners are the same, which is why I do not use the "one-size-fits-all" model. Whether we are working on core academic skills, test preparation, or professional development, my approach is highly interactive, structured, and goal-oriented.
