About Emily-Ann

I am 25 years old with a BA and MA in English literature. Not only do I love teaching students and watching their progress, I have a real passion for the subject and do my very best to pass this along!

Watching students’ confidence improve alongside their grades is what makes the job so fulfilling.

About the lesson

I am 25 years old - this means that I have undertaken similar examinations to my students (and not too long ago!) I have found that keeping students engaged by keeping lessons light and fun, while still teaching the content needed, is the key to encouraging students to make the most progress. I have tutored throughout both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and now that I have started my career in corporate communications. This is because tutoring is something that I enjoy, and helping students achieve their academic goals is something that I am passionate about.
