About Patrice
I have previous experience tutoring English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and supporting learners in both one-on-one and classroom settings. Through this, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and learning goals, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and simply.
My classroom experience also taught me how to manage lessons effectively and create a structured but supportive environment where students feel comfortable participating. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and encouragement when learning a new language.

My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and conversation focused. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and actively involved in the lesson. Rather than relying only on memorization, I help students use English naturally through real conversations and practical exercises that build confidence over time. In my lessons, I combine several techniques to support different learning styles, including:
- conversational practice,
- pronunciation correction,
- grammar in context,
- vocabulary building,
- listening activities,
- roleplay exercises, and real-life speaking situations.
I also personalize lessons based on each student’s goals, level, and pace of learning. My goal is to create a relaxed but productive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving naturally.
