1. Teaching Method and Techniques My instructional approach is student-centered, interactive, and adaptive. I focus on finding out the personal learning style of each student and modifying my practice to suit their personal needs. I incorporate a mix of communicative language teaching (CLT) to build fluency, task-based learning to encourage critical thinking, and direct instruction to teach grammar and form. I also avail myself of multimedia materials—videos, computer games, digital whiteboards, and realia—to deliver lessons in an engaging and practical format. To encourage active learning, I integrate: * Question-and-answer practice to facilitate interaction. * Role play and simulation to practice real situations. * Repeated formative tests to track progress and give feedback. **2. A Typical Lesson Plan** All lessons that I teach are structured around the **PPP model (Presentation, Practice, Production)**. A typical 60-minute lesson might be as follows: * **5 mins – Warm-Up**: Brief chat or vocabulary review game. * **10 mins – Presentation**: Present the subject of the day (e.g., past tense verbs or business email writing) with images and examples. * **20 mins – Practice**: Controlled practice—gap fills, brief writing practice, or dialogues. * **20 mins – Production**: Less formal activity like a debate, role-play, or story building. * **5 mins – Recap & Homework Assignment**: Recap main points and assign individual practice work. Classes are flexible and customized based on the learner's level, requirement, and pace. **3. How I Am Different as a Tutor** I differ from others in being able to identify with students across the board and bring learning joy. I provide: * **Cultural sensitivity** and adaptability in learning from students globally. * **Creative use of technology** to develop interactive learning in virtual classrooms. * **Clear and patient communication**, so that even the shakiest students feel at ease contributing. * A **high success record of improvement and satisfaction** from current students, facilitated by individualized feedback and clear progress tracking. **4. Who the Lessons Are For** I teach: * **Teenagers and adults** at beginner to advanced levels (A1 to C2). * **University students** in need of academic help with writing and presentation. * **Professionals** preparing for interviews, business English, or international tests (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.). * You are a **non-native English speaker** keen on using English for travel, moving abroad, or daily life. Irrespective of whether the objective is fluency, exam focus, or career development, I make each lesson fit individual requirements properly.
