About Ari

Hello! My name is Arianna Miles and I have my B.A. in Criminology/Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. Throughout my academic years, I have always been praised for my exceptional reading and writing skills. Which, I've always found to be ironic because growing up I HATED writing and anything to do with it. I would dreaddd the days when the teacher would give us a random prompt to write or no prompt at all (yikes!). However, once I really honed in on my writing skills and what forms of writing were actually pleasurable for me, everything changed! One of my strong suits has always been organization byways of my study methods and preparation. I made an outline and study guide for everything! I then began making study guides for my classmates as well because they saw the success I was gaining from organizing and optimizing my notes for maximum understanding and to ace exams. During my time at William Paterson University, I was nominated by my professor for a writing competition, Writing Across the Curriculum, for my outstanding research paper on Human/S*x Trafficking in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Although I didn't win this national competition, the nomination alone really gave me the confirmation I needed in regards to my writing skills.
