About Theorose
I am an experienced English and media writing instructor with a strong commitment to helping students develop clarity, confidence, and precision in their writing. My approach is structured, supportive, and grounded in clear communication principles that students can apply across academic, media, and professional contexts. I value professionalism, timely feedback, and respectful collaboration, and I take care to create a learning environment where students feel supported while being challenged to grow. I believe effective writing is a skill that can be learned and strengthened with the right guidance. As such, I prioritize clear explanations, practical examples, and constructive feedback that helps students understand both the strengths of their work and areas for improvement. Students can expect organized lessons, thoughtful instruction, and a tutor who is fully invested in their learning and success.

Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and skills-driven. I focus on helping students understand why writing and language choices matter, not just what is correct. I emphasize clarity, audience awareness, and purpose—key principles in effective communication.
I use a combination of:
Scaffolded instruction (breaking complex tasks into manageable steps)
Modeling and examples to demonstrate strong writing
Guided practice with real-time feedback
Revision-based learning, where improvement is treated as part of the process, not a failure
I also adapt my teaching to each student’s goals, whether they are learning academic writing, media writing, or professional communication. Rather than correcting every sentence, I prioritize patterns, strategies, and transferable skills students can apply independently.
