About Holly-Lauren
I have 8yrs of tutoring experience and 10yrs of child care experience. I have babysat across the ages, from newborns to teenagers, and I have tutored students as young as 5 and as old as 21.
In high school, I worked at a learning center helping K-8th students get back on track. During college, I volunteered at local middle schools, helping young teens pass state exams. I was also a volunteer counselor at an alternative high school. I guided young adults as they processed their trauma through art books that chronicled their childhoods.
I've also been engaged in a number of research projects that aimed to better understand the learning process. I investigated how mental well-being and learning disabilities impact academic performance. My background in psychology has thoroughly prepared me to work with children struggling for a wide variety of reasons.

For the past three years, I have been overseeing the homeschooling of elementary aged children. Additionally, I have been caring for infants and toddlers on a recurring basis throughout the Orlando area. I have a bachelor's in psychology and English, as well as a FL teaching certificate. I have had thorough experience with children managing mental health differences. I welcome children with special needs, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum, etc.
With my extensive background in childcare, tutoring, lesson planning, and overall academic knowledge I'm confident I can help your child succeed.
