About Taylor
Before I ever knew I wanted to teach for a career, I took an internship in college where I helped teach Young Adult Literature, where I gathered fun classroom methods and activities. This opportunity allowed me to moderate interviews with authors (whose books we read in class) and important literary agents. After graduating, I taught American Sign Language, 95% Literacy Intervention, and Creative Writing at Magma Ranch K-8. I taught over 120+ students ranging from ages 9-15. Some kids had IEP plans that I followed with the utmost integrity. With each subject, I show my prideful dedication through students' success. I am here for you, and together we can work out any obstacle that comes our way!

I always have at least three ways to teach every bit of information. Not every person learns the same, and it is my mission to transform curriculum into exciting, memorable tools for a successful future! I always start with a warm-up to assess what level you're at--typically a timed game. Pulling from multiple resources (written information, videos, excerpts, etc.), I encourage the student to critically think for themselves and utilize their personality to achieve academic success. Rewarding hard work and strategizing improvement is my refreshing end to a great session. Whether it's for literature, creative writing, journaling, or academic writing, I can effectively teach any age, grade, and personality. I am a dedicated, hard-working teacher who is committed to you!
