About Ben
I am currently a university student in my first year at University College London. I have always enjoyed teaching because I find it very rewarding when as an individual you can help to inspire or educate someone else, whether that be in academia, sport, or music. I have a particular interest in English literature because I have always enjoyed reading, and I would love the opportunity to tutor a student in this subject.

I have a detailed and patient approach when educating the student on how to effectively analyse and interpret English literature. In addition to this I provide advice on exam technique, and how to construct articulate and convincing essays. During lessons I will work through examples with the student, whether that be poetry or short passages, to identify where common misunderstandings can be made, and how to avoid them. Ultimately I aim to build up the confidence of the student while helping them develop an interest in the subject.
