About Payton
I am currently an English teacher in Spain, where I help students aged 8-13 master their English skills in both English and Science classes. I also have advanced knowledge of Spanish, which allows me to support native Spanish speakers, even those with little to no knowledge of English. I live in Iowa and love going on new adventures! I’m excited for you to begin your journey of learning English, and I’m here to help and support you every step of the way.

My lessons are open to students of all ages. I specialize in helping younger students with all subjects in English as a foreign language, and I also assist adults in mastering English fluency. I use a variety of activities—including listening exercises, reading comprehension tasks, and interactive conversations—to create a well-rounded understanding of the language. While I am conversationally fluent in Spanish, I can support learners from any language background and skill level. I believe that a strong foundation in the grammar and mechanics of one's native language is essential for understanding a second language. This makes it easier to draw comparisons and understand the differences between languages.
