I am passionate about tutoring and have successfully helped many students achieve their academic goals. I specialize in Science and English and take pride in my ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way. Understanding that financial concerns can be a barrier for many families, I have set my rates a bit lower to make my services more accessible.

About the lesson

I approach each lesson based on the individual student's needs and the topics they present. I believe in personalizing my teaching rather than following a strict template, as every student is unique. My goal is to create a tailored learning plan that focuses on their specific strengths and weaknesses.

To enhance understanding and retention, I make lessons interactive and employ methods designed to help information stick in long-term memory rather than just short-term recall. My strategies have proven effective for many of my past students, leading to significant improvement in their learning outcomes.

Perfect! LJ was absolutely great and my daughter really enjoyed working with her. She has a tremendously warm personality and they really hit it off, getting a lot accomplished (specifically, my daughter’s senior research paper). One thing to keep in mind: while their first meeting was in-person at the local library, I believe LJ’s preferred means of tutoring is online, which also seemed to work out just fine.
