About Brittney

I graduated and got my Bachelors degree from Southern New Hampshire University. I have always loved school and learning and would love nothing more but to utilize my experience and education to help each individual reach their academic goals. I create a positive experience while teaching and I encourage my students to never give up and to believe in themselves. I have always had a passion for teaching since I was a little girl and I taught my little sister how to read and write and helped my neighborhood friends with their homework. I am eager to continue my passion for teaching.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I have a passion for helping students succeed and building their confidence in their education journey. I have a positive optimistic approach. I teach in a variety of different ways that fit all learning styles. I determine what methods work for each individual to help them retain the information being taught to them and encourage my students to never give up. I want to leave a life long impact on each of my students and always remind them that they can do anything they put their minds to and have a different outlook on subjects they dislike. I encourage positive thinking rather than their negative beliefs. I oftentimes hear, "I'm horrible at math." I remind them that they are not horrible at math and that they just need a little extra time on studying math and may need to work harder at it. I feel this is very important to put education in a more positive light to help them not only in academics but also in the real world. I am experienced in Math and English from kindergarten to high school and I plan on finishing my education degree.
