Γεια σου! I am a Greek language tutor teaching Greek to learners of all ages and abilities across the globe.

I have known Stefanos through our Greek language lessons with him for over 6 years, as part of a small adult group in person , then as a group online during Covid and currently online in a two to one setting.

Stefanos is a very engaging tutor. He has been very good at matching the lessons to our abilities so that they have been challenging but not too easy or impossible for us. He has based a lot of the lessons around subjects that most interest us so that much of the vocabulary is useful in situations that we may find ourselves when we are travelling in Greece.

He is able to cover writing, grammar, vocabulary and conversation all very well and is good at setting refresher tasks so that things like vocabulary become second nature to us.

Stefanos is a very reliable tutor. He is always prompt, on time at the start of lessons with reliable technical connections for online lessons. He has also always had good communications whenever required in between lessons. His level of English is so good from living in England for many years that there is no language barrier for more in depth discussions or explanations of grammar etc.

Stefanos is a qualified teacher with years of experience, both in schools in the UK and in Greece. He taught Greek to a small group of us in person, and also online. Stefanos has a friendly and open manner and is excellent at tailoring his lessons to ability. He is encouraging and positive, which motivates learning. He uses a variety of resources and teaching methods, such as open conversational style questions, appropriate focus on grammar and vocabulary, setting thoughtful homework tasks, and giving feedback. Stefanos is an exemplary tutor. He brings a great breadth of knowledge, attentiveness, humour, and an ability to articulate complicated concepts clearly and succinctly.
