About Elpida

Γεια! Hello! My name is Elpida and I’m a native Greek speaker. I was born and raised in Athens, Greece but currently I live in London, UK. I studied Theatre at the University of Peloponnese in the beautiful seaside town of Nafplio in Greece. After I finished my studies and my internship in theatre, I decided that it was time to travel around the world. I came to London in 2017 to work as an Au Pair and since then I’ve travelled to various destinations and I’ve met very interesting people from all around the world. My passion for languages has started at a very young age. As a kid I’ve learnt English and French in private language schools and as an adult I taught myself Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese. Learning new languages is like travelling the world for me.

About the lesson

As a language learner myself (7 languages and keep on going), I learnt that it is very important to immerse yourself in the language you’re learning and get used to the way that natives speak. My teaching style is very flexible and completely adjusted to each of my students' needs. I have been teaching people from all around the globe for more than 2 years now and I can develop a teaching plan especially for you, or you can bring your own plan and we will accomplish it together. I will adjust every lesson to your needs, either your goal is communicating with natives in your summer holidays in Greece or you just want to be able to have a casual conversation with your Greek friends from around the world.
